3D PROP ART

Hard-surface and high-detail prop production for games, cinematics, and real-time projects. We create props with strong forms, clean construction, and material definition that fit naturally into the world they belong to.

OUR 3D CHARACTER ART WORKFLOW

We start by reviewing the prop concept, references, visual style, technical requirements, and final usage. This helps us understand the expected quality, scale, material direction, deliverables, and production limits before modeling begins.

We create a simple blockout to define the main shape, proportion, silhouette, and functional structure of the prop. This stage helps validate the overall direction early before moving into detailed production.

Once the blockout is approved, we create the high poly model to capture the refined forms, bevels, and surface details of the prop. We then build the low poly version with cleaner, optimized geometry that keeps the asset efficient while preserving the intended shape and silhouette.

After the low poly model is ready, we create the UV layout and bake the high poly details into texture maps. This allows the final prop to carry the visual richness of the high poly model while remaining suitable for real production use.

We texture the prop based on the approved style and material direction, including color, roughness, metalness, wear, dirt, and surface variation where needed. The goal is to make the asset feel believable, consistent, and aligned with the project’s world.

Before delivery, we review the final prop for visual quality, baked map accuracy, texture setup, scale, naming, file organization, and production readiness. We then prepare the final files in the agreed format for the next stage of your pipeline.
